GreenGeeks
Eco-conscious hosting
GreenGeeks matches three times the energy your site consumes with renewable energy credits, while delivering modern LiteSpeed-powered shared and reseller hosting that competes with mainstream brands on performance.
Where GreenGeeks actually fits
GreenGeeks is best understood as a shared host built for sustainability-minded sites, small businesses. Plans start at $2.95/mo/mo and are backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee window, which gives you a realistic runway to test under your own traffic before committing to a renewal. Support is handled via 24/7 human expert support — a detail that matters far more once something breaks at 2 a.m. than it does on the day you sign up.
On performance, our composite Perf Index puts GreenGeeks at 100/100 across 4 data-center regions. Readiness for modern workloads breaks down as limited for SaaS and not suitable for AI-adjacent workloads — numbers we re-check quarterly rather than inherit from a brochure.
Our take: The strongest sustainability story without performance trade-offs.

We’d revise GreenGeeks’s score if…
- If starting price increases by 20% from $2.95/mo, re-evaluate 'Affordable' claim.
- If renewal price for 'Lite' plan exceeds $15/mo, reassess value proposition.
- If uptime guarantee drops below 99.9%, reconsider reliability score.
- If refund policy shortens to less than 30 days, re-evaluate purchase confidence.
- If 24/7 support becomes ticket-only or response times degrade significantly, revisit 'Support' rating.
Every revision is logged on the public corrections log. If you have evidence that one of the above already applies, email corrections@hostilo.net.
